du Roy René, provides lovely, furnished apartments in this recently restored
historical (fifteenth century) building, each containing a fully equipped
kitchenette, dining area, and bathroom. All ground level apartments have
private terraces with garden furniture. |

These rooms are a bit
more expensive but access with suitcases and art supplies in and out will be
easier, plus we can meet at outside tables for pot-luck meals and relaxing
meetings and conversation. There is also a bus that leaves every fifteen
minutes into and out of Aix-en-Provence from next to the hotel, as well as a
network of easily-found municipal parking lots. (There is also a
magnificent municipal swimming pool close by.) |
